ID CARE PHYSICIANS NAMED “TOP DOCS” BY NJ MONTHLY

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – Five physicians practicing at ID Care have been named as “Top Docs” for 2007 in the Infectious Disease category by NJ Monthly magazine. The determination is made based on an independent survey of New Jersey-based physicians.

Those earning the recognition by their peers in the state’s most influential lifestyle publication are Dr. Donald T. Allegra, Dr. David J. Herman, Dr. Edward J. McManus, Dr. Ronald G. Nahass, and Dr. Stephen J. Williams. They have been selected as five of the top physicians in their field. This is the fifth such recognition for Dr. Nahass, the second for Drs. Allegra, Herman, and McManus and the initial honor for Dr. Williams.

NJ Monthly annually researches all of the medical professionals in the state and has determined the 573 “Top Doctors” practicing in 59 specialties. The research is done by an independent survey firm working with the Monmouth Polling Institute at Monmouth University in West Long Branch. A total of 20,444 doctors were invited to submit their recommendations and 2,296 licensed physicians who have practiced for more than five years determined the final “Top Docs.”

Categories included the 24 official Board of Medical Examiners-recognized specialties with numerous internal medicine sub-specialties with more than 100 practicing doctors included. The final list represents the top ten doctors in each of the 48 categories.
