Meena Seenivasan, MD
Meena Seenivasan, MD earned her medical degree from
Stanley Medical College, Chennai India. At Stanley Medical College,
she won the prestigious "Best Student" award. She then
trained at Maimonides Medical Center at Brooklyn NY and completed
her Internal Medicine residency in 1999. At Maimonides Medical Center,
she received the" Intern of the Year" award. She completed
her Infectious Diseases fellowship at the State University of New
York at Brooklyn in 2001. She was the managing editor of the premier
infectious Disease Textbook- Antimicrobial Therapy and Vaccines-2nd
edition and the website www.antimicrobe.org during 2001-2003.
Dr. Seenivasan is board certified in both Infectious
Diseases and Internal Medicine. She is an attending physician at
Somerset Medical Center, Saint Peter's University Hospital, Robert
Wood Johnson University Hospital, and the University Medical Center
at Princeton. She is a member of the American College of Physicians,
the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the Infectious Diseases
Society of New Jersey.
